On Monday we had our annual Ploughman's lunch which was enjoyable and delicious as ever. We nearly always have a speaker at our monthly meetings so when we have an informal lunch it is a great opportunity to chat and get up to date with what everybody is doing.
A lot of the chat was about our forthcoming Ruby Celebration exhibition and we were lucky to have two visitors who we hope will help us publicise the event.
In the morning Marie Lennon, who has the afternoon programme (14.00 - 16.00) on Wiltshire Radio, interviewed a number of members with the intention of broadcasting a little each day in the week running up to the exhibition. Below is Marie chatting to Kay, Stella and Ann
In the afternoon Kim Wright from the Art2Art programme on the community radio station Swindon 105.5 also chatted to several members and his programme is broadcasted on a Friday afternoon between 14.00 and 15.00 and then repeated on a Sunday at 16.00.
Thank you Marie and Kim for visiting us and we look forward to hearing the broadcasts.
